When my wife wears nail polish longer than a week, her toe nails begin to sting. Already tried changing brands

My best suggestion would be to buy either a hypoallergenic or medicated base coat and apply 1-2 coats of that before any polish - Sally Hansen has some excellent brands. Also, do not wear any polish on your toes over a month - even your toenails need a breather to prevent infection and breaking. When my wife wears nail polish longer than a week, her toe nails begin to sting. tell her to stop painting her nails for a while. =PWhen my wife wears nail polish longer than a week, her toe nails begin to sting. Already tried changing brands
try trying the brand O-P-I. those nail polish are really good brand...or stop painting her nails for a while
She could have an underlieing problem that might not be related to the polish at all. if there is damage to the nail beds, it takes a fairly long time for the new healthy nail to grow out. Advise her to go to a foot dr. or her regular one and ask questions... Honestly though nails are not alive (hence do not hurt when trimming, just like hair) so it must be the skin underneath or the nail bed that is causing the problem.. with summer upon us I wish her luck.
she should give her nails a rest cuz those chemicals aren't good for her.
Take her to see her doctor, or a dermatologist. There could be a medical reason as to why this is happening. Until the problem is addressed by a medical personnel, tell your wife to lay off the nail polish.
