ok well i have a lab top and i was being dumb and i put hot pink nail polish on the lens and i already tried nail polish remover and now its just a big smudge so what do i do please someone help meUmm how do you get nail polish off of a camra lens?

You need to get an alcohol based lens cleaner. Take it a layer at a time and clean the lens like you normally would. Don't overpress etc...
You can also use the acetone to clean the lense until the nail polish is gone and there's the ascetone smudge and use alcohol for that. It will clear it. Just TAKE YOUR TIME and don't over rub or push.

If the lens was plastic, which it probably is, the acetone in the nail polish and in the nail polish remover would have fogged the plastic.
Nothing you can do now. It is permanently ruined.
***-a-tone, clears up any big bad boo-boo.
Of course the coating that protects the lens will be destroyed.
No problem, it'll take clearer pix, now.
use non acatone nail polish
Don't put nail polish on the lens to begin with.
