Have you ever noticed that when it sits (look when you buy it) it separates. The ball helps mix it, sort of like a build in stir stick. Take your bottle of nail polish and roll it between your hands (do not shake because it causes air bubbles which can mess up your nails)Why does a bottle of nail polish always have a small gray ball in it?
it helps stir it when you shake it
i always wonderd that too
because someone dipped their balls in it!
