OK, there's the list of links below to start with. My favorite site for this type of stuff -- eHow.com -- I've started you out with how to clean fingernail polish out of your carpet, with tips from users on how to do that, how to remove colored fruit drinks from carpet, how to deep clean your carpet, tips on that as well, and how to remove a whole list of carpet stains. This site is searchable for lots of other cleaning tips as well. Hope this helps. Good luck!!
I have had both types of stains and had professionals come out to remove (I was trying to sell) and was told by several that it was impossible to remove these substances. If the areas are not too big cut out the stain and get a piece the same size from a closet corner and glue it in place. Fluff up the area and you can't tell. ( I sold the house in 12 days) Good luck!
